In January 2001, GFL was born with the mission of raising funds for women’s health initiatives. Since that time, we have weathered the storm of life changes, field issues and a pandemic, and still managed to raise and donate $613,156 with your help. Over the past few years we have seen fewer teams participating as a number of us age out of playing and we have dealt with exponentially-increasing costs. This year we came to the difficult decision that it is time to close this chapter.
GFL will be having one final fundraising party on Sunday, June 1 from 4-7pm and then will end this 24-year journey. Thank you for your support all of these years. It has been our honor and privilege to work together with all of you on our shared mission.
